The STORY OF
THE BIG CHEESE

Hi, I’m Josh, the big cheese here at The Big Cheese. Our story is simple: Sometimes life gives you lemons, and sometimes you stumble upon the highest-quality, most insanely sharp cheddar mankind has ever known. After we discovered this wondrous Wisconsin cheddar, I suppose we could have enjoyed it for ourselves for the next five decades, but that seemed selfish.
Instead, I created The Big Cheese, a place where we could make cheddar witty, adventurous and a touch off-color, and, of course, drop occasionally groan-worthy puns. After all, our cheese has been around for nearly two decades. It’s old enough to say whatever it wants, even if it is a bit salty.

The Big Cheese was created out of a need to move 850,000 pounds of amazing, 12-15 year aged sharp cheddar. A friend of mine had a gold mine of cheese and no way to sell it. I had a vision of a cheese company but no cheddar.

Speaking of being old and cheesy, my family has dabbled in cheese since 1953 with a little brand called Sargento. While Sargento is now a big cheese company, we’re The Big Cheese company. The Big Cheese is all-digital and works directly with our customers, so you can get the world’s best cheddar delivered right to your doorstep.
